Immune-mediated inflammatory diseases are very common in dogs and less commonly seen in cats. Manifestations vary depending on the area affected which can include the brain or meninges, spinal cord, nerves, muscles, or joints (vertebral articulations).


In this segment Dr. Rebecca Windsor will use case-based examples to explain the diagnosis and treatment of immune-mediated CNS diseases, musculoskeletal / peripheral nervous system disease, and other incidental diseases (vaccine or drug reactions) seen in the veterinary practice setting.
