Cats are pretty good at masking their pain. In the case of joint pain, rarely do they limp or โ€œfavorโ€ another limb. When they are at the veterinarianโ€™s office, the environment and stress of the visit can further limit their natural behavior and make it difficult for the vet to identify whether a cat may be in pain. In this segment Dr. Margaret Gruen, a veterinary behavior expert, shows a series of videos that demonstrate some subtle signs that can clue pet owners and veterinarians in about a catโ€™s pain.
