Stephanie Langston, Ph.D. earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Washington State University. Her clinical and professional backgrounds include community mental health, university counseling centers, and private practice. Her doctoral research focused on the application of attachment theory to the human-animal bond, perceived social support, and subjective well-being. Stephanie also has a strong research interest in the human-animal bond and womenโ€™s issues, and she remains nationally active with the APA in these areas.
