This is an encore presentation of Dr. Sheri Berger's webinar that originally aired in 2018. A love and compassion for animals, by and large, is an overriding factor for those who choose a career in veterinary medicine. Our โ€œfeel goodโ€ rewards come from helping our patients - the animals - overcome or live comfortably with illness, relieving their suffering when the battle is lost, and promoting or enhancing the human-animal bond. Veterinarians and the those working in supportive roles (veterinary technicians and client care representatives) are typically caring and compassionate individuals. But that doesnโ€™t always come through to our clients, patients, or to each other. We have good days and bad days, easy days and challenging days. We continually find ourselves multi-tasking in an effort to meet the demands of our busy work day. Not uncommonly these constant demands take a toll on our personal well-being. Additionally, they can have an adverse effect on our actual caregiving. This session will bring focus to both client-centric and patient-centric caregiving, and 12 essentials for demonstrating exemplary care in the veterinary practice setting. Running time: 31 minutes Free registration for Premium Membership subscribers or $28
