This special event for pet owners is held in partnership with Greyhound Pets of America - Houston! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to GPA-Houston! This presentation will begin with an overview of the prevalence of cancer in our canine companions including the common symptoms of cancer to watch for in your pet. Dr. Pamela Jones will review the most common cancers that afflict our canine companions, including the current treatments that are available for these diseases. There will be a specific focus on what is currently known and being researched regarding cancer in the Greyhound breed.
